Why?
Why?
Everything and if I can’t grow it or buy it local and organic, I do without.
Anything on the dirty dozen, when possible. And condiments, and grains, oils, butter.
all produce, particularly the produce on the Dirty Dozen including berries, celery, apples, etc. I also buy organic rice milk… but that’s due to a personal anxiety about small traces of radiation found in our cow milk in the USA…
All the produce and bulk goods I buy are organic. I saw that dirty dozens list a few years ago and that gave me resolve to eat as close to 100% organic as possible. My coconut water is not organic, because the organic coconut water comes in an aluminum can and the conventional coconut water in a glass bottle. Packaging makes a difference too.
Buying bulk staples helps on a budget, that’s for sure.
I am trying to covert to all organic / natural foods for my family. We are a family of 7 ranging from 15 – 87! It is SO expensive and we are on such a SMALL budget so I make sure to focus on milk, meats, apples, grapes, lettuce, and a few other main items. But my ultimate goal would be to go completely organic in all areas of our lives – food, makeup, body care, etc.
Milk. It tastes better and lasts longer.
I try to buy all my produce organic, and I love it when I can buy local, organic meats too. Even if they’re a bit pricier, the difference in taste and quality is crazy huge.
Lots, especially fruits and veggies. But, I will choose a local peach or some sweet corn over it’s from away organic counterpart. I also LOVE Bionatura Whole Wheat Pasta, my fave pasta of all!
Everything I can! I can’t think of a non-organic product that tastes better than its organic counterpart.
All of my greens and veggies. I love a great salad, and when I buy organic I know that spinach = spinach.
