BriarPatch Food Co-op (Grass Valley)

BriarPatch Food Co-op was founded in 1976 by a group of residents of Nevada County, California, in order to have access to wholesome foods at affordable prices. As the popularity of natural and organic foods grew in the late 1980's, BriarPatch Food Co-op began to grow in impressive leaps.

We sell high quality, healthful products at fair prices, emphasizing minimally processed, additive-free organic and natural foods. We carry locally grown products whenever possible, and strive to stock food and other household goods that are grown or manufactured in ways that support good health for people and the environment. Our produce department carries 100 percent certified organic produce, the widest selection in the county. We carry many foods and other products in bulk, to help you save money and reduce packaging waste.

You don't have to be an owner-member to shop at BriarPatch, anyone can join, and working in the store is not required. We specialize in offering excellent service to our customers, and are happy to answer all of your questions. We welcome your visit.
